Rodney B. Huddleston

Rodney Burton Huddleston, 73, of Kemah, Texas passed into eternal rest on July 18, 2020. He was born in Crowley, Louisiana on October 1, 1946 to parents Glen Montgomery and Mildred Inez Huddleston. Rodney graduated from John H. Reagan High School. He was first married to Patricia Dean Clark and then he married Linda Kay Strickland Trojan. Rodney had a career in operations management with Walgreens, Kroger and Walmart. Golfing, serving at Aggie football games, and spending time with family and friends were his passions.

Rodney is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Glenda Lee Stuessy and Brenda Bell Ross. Left to cherish his memory are children: Rhonda Dee Martin and husband Russ, Stacy Earl Huddleston and his wife Shawn, Kevin Trojan and his wife Elisa, Michelle Trojan, Bradley Trojan and his wife Georgia; grandchildren: Christy Lynn Carter, Michaela Dee Sullivan, Andrew Garrett Huddleston, Kyle Everett Huddleston, Trey Kevin Trojan, Hannah Nicole Trojan, Morgan Elizabeth Trojan, Jakob Bradley Trojan; great-grandchildren: Kinsley Grace Carter and Branson Wesley Powell; brother-in-law Joe Stuessy and niece Debbi Jo Hayden.

The family will receive family and friends for services Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral to start promptly at 2:00 p.m. and the interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
