He was born in Weslaco, TX on January 14, 1948 to the late Rogelio Uresti Sr. and Simona Caballero Uresti. Rogelio Uresti Jr graduated from Pearland High School in 1968. He was a proud American, who fought in the Vietnam War from 1968-1969. He was an even prouder father and grandfather.
He was survived by his daughters: Kimberley Lynn Uresti and Audra Halee Uresti; grandchildren: Jackson Uresti and Isabella Uresti; brothers: Reynaldo Uresti and Jesus Rodolfo Uresti.
A visitation for Rogelio will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
