Rolando Flores

Rolando Flores beloved husband and beloved father passed on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the age of 76 with his wife by his side.

Rolando was born on August 17, 1947, in El Salvador to Antonio Alcantara and Josefina Flores. He served in the Army in El Salvador, he then became a long-time resident of Houston, Texas where he worked for Zapato Shoe Repair for 30 years. He enjoyed playing and watching soccer, listening to music, and talking to his family. He endured a long battle with kidney disease.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years Anita Flores.

His children Erika Yajaira Flores, Elga Nubia Flores, Rolando Antonio Flores Hernandez. His stepchildren Rick Reza and wife Nikki, Cynthia Reza Hernandez and wife Leticia Hernandez, Rosemary Reza, Alicia Reza and fiance Frank Longoria, and Leticia Reza Hernandez and her Husband Paul Hernandez.

Grandchildren: Jackie, Andrew, John, Lori, and Samantha. Angel, Alexis, Adrian, and Aric. Patricia, Rissa, Gabriella, Zaria, Paul, and Aidan; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Siblings: Juana Asturias, Mirtala Flores, Alicia Flores, and Silvia Flores.

Rolando was preceded in death by his parents Antonio Alcantara and his mother Josefina Flores. His sisters Carmen Flores and Espanza Flores. His brother Fabio Flores.

Eternal rest grant unto him. O'Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May He Rest In Peace.

A visitation for Rolando will be held Monday, May 13, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022, followed by a funeral service and rosary from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
