Ronal Edward Turner was born June 26,1959 to Peggie Jean Walker and LD Hogg in Bryan, Texas. Ronal attended public school and graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School. At an early age, Ronal established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Ronal was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. I. H. Montgomery, Pastor.
Ronal has always worked, loved his fashion and was an outstanding cook like no other. From age 18 to 30, he worked for the Ford Motor Company, Church’s Chicken and Tom Peacock Cadillac. He received his nickname of “Broham” from his days at Tom Peacock Cadillac where he was injured working on a Cadillac Brougham. When he returned to work, the guys gave him his new nickname which he continued to carry throughout his life. Ronal has worked for many other companies and people. He would fix your ride with or without payment. Ronal was an outstanding teacher. He earned and gained his respect. He was a trustworthy person and was always there when you needed him.
Ronal was preceded in death by his mother Peggie McClain, Pappi Willie McCain, sister Margie Dewberry and daughters Charie Spiller and Varneisha Gant.
The marvelous memories and legacy of love that Ronal left will be in the hearts of his wife Karla, daughter Varmika Johnson, son Voshawn Johnson (Jenna), grandchildren Rayquan Jones, Carl Johnson, Joseph Bailey, Kalisia Gant, Kalilia Gant and Mila Johnson, aunts Sarah Harris, Annie Mae Rollins and Emma Bradley, uncle John Walker Sr, niece Lawanna Dewberry, nephew Tommy Davis, great niece Vantrice Dewberry along with a host of great-great niece and nephew, cousins, relatives and friends.
