Ronald D. Crain, age 86, of Austin, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Ronald was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 19, 1934 to Joseph and Jennie Crain. He was married to Meridith Crain for 53 years. Ronald had a career in Federal Government for National Labor Relations Board. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and had a passion for Music, playing the guitar and banjo country western, classical, and Bluegrass music, rodeo and Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by Joseph and Jennie Crain (parents), Alyce Parker (mother-in-law), Virginia Schardt Crain (first wife), Ronald Dean Crain Jr. (son), Andrew Steven Jones (grandson).
He is survived by Meridith Anne Crain (wife),Marvin Crain (brother), Jackie Crain (sister), Virginia (Ginny) Crain Jones (daughter), Vera Lynne Crain Wiley (daughter), William Joseph Crain (son), Sam Jones, Mark Jones, Daniel Jones, Abigail Jones, Katelyn Brown, Allyson Keslar, Ryan Wiley (grandchildren).
