Ronald Edward Ormond

Ronald was born December 9, 1952 at Herman Hospital to Odessa and Edward Ormond. He went to Waltrip High School (graduated) and went to Houston Community College with a focus in Business Administration. In retail sales, Ronald worked for General Mills, Acosta and Adams.

Ronald never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face with laughter in his heart. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend to all whose lives he touched. A few of his favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting, golf and boating, as well as, watching football and Nascar racing.

Ronald is survived by his wife Carmen Ormond, (married June 5, 1999); Children, Steven Ormond, Brian Ormond and stepdaughter Crystal Martinez-Frier all of Houston; Grandchildren, Abram Ormond, Abbigail Ormond, Avah Martinez, and Rhianna Martinez; Sister, Cheryl Kramer; Aunts, Dorothy Klander, Linda Bennett and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Also, Ronald was a long time parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church where he was a 4th Degree Knight and served as an usher at the 11:00 am Mass.

He will be dearly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.
