She was born in Van, Van Zandt County, Texas to Gladys and Buddy Turner.
Rose was preceded in death by daughter Lynn, son Clarke and husband Sammie.
She is survived by son Todd and wife Amy Calvin of Houston, daughter- in-law Melanie and husband Kenny Calvin of Lake Jackson and grandchildren Taylor, Kyle, and Kaitlyn Calvin of Houston, Adam and wife Jamie Calvin, Russell and wife Jessica Calvin of Lake Jackson, and many nieces and nephews.
Rose was a member of Westbury Baptist Church and a long time member of the Houston A&M Mother’s Club. She was an avid duplicate bridge player, certified Director and Gold Life Master.
She will be missed.
