Rosa Elia Leyva

Rosa Elia Leyva, age 84, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. Rosa was born in Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on January 21, 1941. Rosa was married to Macedonio Leyva Ibarra on February 28, 1959 in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her son Macedonio Leyva Jr., grandson Armando Espitia Jr. and sister Ma. Dolores Puente Ramirez. Rosa is survived by her loving husband Macedonio Leyva Ibarra, son Francisco Javier, daughters Maria Isabel, Magdalena, son Daniel II, daughters Rosa Maria and Claudia. Grandchildren Eloy, Esmeralda, Yolanda, Tania, Maribel, Joshua, Cynthia, Lily, Vivian, Tamara, Rebecca, Isidro, Nereida, Braulio, Daniel III, Nathalie, Joaquin, Omar, Jose Antonio, Macedonio, William Antonio and Claudia Lilybeth.

A visitation for Rosa will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will occur Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A vigil service will occur Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A funeral mass will occur Friday, March 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Catholic Charismatic Center, 1949 Cullen Blvd, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will occur Friday, March 14, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
