She left to be with the lord and savior on January 6, 2024.
Those who knew her would say, she was a firecracker just like her daddy but had a loving heart just like her mommy. She was very strong- willed and independent woman. She loved to cook and in the early days worked @ Tony's restaurant in the Galleria and the River Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas. She loved to dress up and loved her shoes. She had a closet full of them. She would never miss her weekly hair appointment. She loved the holidays. Always decorating the house no matter which holiday it was. She loved to dance as her favorite was Ruben Naranjo and the Gamblers and would never miss a dance, wedding, or quinceanera.
Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Trinidad Delagdo, and brothers Ruben, Joseph and John Delgado.
Rosa is survived by her children Linda Valecia, Maryann Moreno, Michael and wife Carmen, Frank and his spouse Julio Melchor, brother George Delgado, and her sisters Sandra Melchor, Sandy and husband Louis Melchor, and Sylvia and husband Arnold Lira. She also leaves behind 7 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be Christopher Rodriguez, Anthony Rodriguez, Michael Melchor II, Johnny Melchor, Matthew Melchor and Christian Melchor.
A visitation for Rosa will take place Thursday January 18, 2024 from 11:00am-12:30pm at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park 2454 S Dairy Ashford Houston, TX 77077. A funeral service will follow from 12:30pm-1:00pm followed by a committal service.
