Rosalinda Lozano, born on May 4, 1954, in Harlingen, Texas, passed away surrounded by love on January 20, 2026. She leaves behind a family and community who adored her deeply. She is now resting in eternal paradise.
Linda was a fighter, resilient, strong, and full of heart. She lived her life with generosity, style, and grace.
Thoughtful to her core, she was always concerned with others and ready to lend a hand. Whether through a kind word, a thoughtful gift, or simply showing up, she had a way of making people feel seen and cared for. She especially loved spoiling her grandchildren, always thinking about what would make them smile.
She truly knew how to enjoy life. She loved good food, Tex-Mex dinners paired with margaritas, shared with family and friends. She had a free spirit and a beautiful soul. Music brought her smooth moves to the dance floor. She loved everything from oldies to country. A natural dancer, she brought fun and energy wherever she went.
She cherished traveling, especially cruises, the beach, and days spent soaking up warm sunshine by the pool. Some of her favorite places were Boston and the Grand Canyon. She loved being active and outdoors, and wherever she went, she carried a sense of adventure and a deep appreciation for life.
A true fashionista, Linda could put together the perfect outfit out of nothing and always looked effortlessly stylish. Her hair was always perfectly put together and her confidence unforgettable. Sunflowers were her favorite flower, bright, beautiful, and full of life, just like her.
She enjoyed cozy nights watching Hallmark movies or crime shows and treasured spending time with her many friends and family, creating memories that will be held close forever.
For over twenty years, she worked at Petrosky Elementary, where she touched countless lives through her dedication, kindness, and care. Her impact there and everywhere she went will continue to live on.
Linda was deeply loved, and she loved deeply in return. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the laughter, lessons, and love she gave us. Her spirit, strength, and joy will remain with us always.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, in the Event Room. The service is scheduled for February 9, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
