On Wednesday, the 20th of May 2020, at the age of 68, Rosalinda (Babes) Villamayor Witkowsky, a loving daughter, sister, and wife passed away leaving behind her husband, James Witkowsky, and their feline children, Junior and Moon.
Rosalinda was born on July 18th, 1951 in Manila, Philippines to Frederick and Nora Villamayor; where she got her nickname Baby for being the youngest girl of seven siblings, which then evolved to Babes from her US friends.
"Though she be little, she is fierce." Similar to her favorite Filipino action star, Fernando Poe, Jr., many remember her to be strong, opinionated, and truly formidable.
Earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines in November of 1972, Babes immigrated to the US with her family with hopes of the American Dream.
As her favorite American film actor Keanu Reeves once said, "Every struggle in your life has shaped you into the person you are today. Be thankful for the hard times, they can only make you stronger."
Truly a fun-loving spirit; Rosalinda was a diverse collector. From mugs to movies, to Betty Boop and Beatles memorabilia; her trinkets brought her joy. Among her favorite past times were the magic of music and films. She was also known for her sweet tooth and love of a diverse palette of food.
Rosalinda is survived by her mother, Nora, husband James, her two cat children, Junior and Moon, her sister, Louella, her brothers Jesse, Federico, Jing, Ed, Tony, and a plethora of loved ones who will truly miss her.
