Rosanne Alexander Lowrey

Rosanne Alexander Lowrey passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025. A native Houstonian, Rose was born born on February 15, 1954, to the late Antone "Ted" Alexander and the late Annie Koswoski Alexander.

Rose built a distinguished career in the oil and gas industry, where she held roles in Accounting, Gas Control, Transportation Services, and Revenue Accounting. She brought her expertise and dedication to respected companies including Hall Houston, Torch Energy Marketing, Transco Pipeline, and W&T Offshore.

Beyond her professional career, Rose was known for her vibrant spirit and warmth. She delighted in annual Kentucky Derby gatherings with friends, always bringing her signature enthusiasm and charm. A devoted cat lover, she affectionately referred to her pets as her "critters" and held special fondness for the Blue Russian breed.

Rose will be remembered as a loyal friend with a generous heart and quick wit. Her presence brought joy to those around her, and her absence will be deeply felt.

A visitation will be held on July 18, 2025, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at Pat H. Foley & Company, located at 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at the same location. A reception will follow from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.

A committal service is scheduled for July 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a women's shelter for homeless, a no-kill animal shelter, or a veterans homeless shelter - causes close to Rose's heart.
