Mary had sent me a message through my niece to tell me of Sadie's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a great lady with a loving, caring nature that always came through in our conversations. And all those marvelous conversations over the backyard fence! Not to mention the fabulous aromas to signal when Sadie was cooking!
She loved her family so much and I know she will always be remembered. I recognize several family members in the pictures and would love to talk to you anytime. You will all be in my prayers .

My lovely and loving cousin-in-law and friend, Sadie; How I will miss all the updates and photos of you posted by my Texas cousins. I have loved you from when I can first remember around the age of 5. I loved your Italian-American/Brooklyn attitude, that served you so well in your life. I ALWAYS admired your loving loyalty to my cousin, Frank, and your strength in moving to Houston with 5 young children, Andrea being only a few weeks old at the time. I can see you and the family walking toward the jet plane and waving goodbye. You handled it all like a champ and your home was always open to me and my family. I will miss you and pray that you are in The Good Lord’s loving arms. Peace and Love!

Devereux

Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to the family. Sadie shared with the world how the love for life was supposed to be. A beautiful and wonderful wife, mother grandmother, sister and friend. We have so many fond memories of our teenage years on Holt St in Bellaire. She was the most caring, loving and thoughtful person, and I will always treasure the lasting impact she made on our lives.. The family and world has lost a beautiful woman and you will miss her deeply, but you will always have an angel looking over you.
