

Rose Marie Cesmirosky was born on February 22, 1930, in New York, NY. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven on January 24, 2025, at her home in Cypress, TX surrounded by family and loved ones.
Rose Marie was a dedicated wife, amazing mother, adored grandmother and great-grandmother, treasured friend, and had a servant heart for her students, community, and church.
After graduating from William Patterson University with her bachelor’s degree, Rose Marie spent her career teaching in New Jersey, in Venezuela at the American School where she would meet her husband, Lawrence, and eventually in the Cy-Fair School District where she and her husband would settle to raise their boys in Cypress. During this time Rose Marie earned her Master’s Degree from Prairie View A&M University.
Rose Marie spent her retirement volunteering in the community, working at the Christ the Redeemer library, as an active member of various local societies, walking countless miles and drinking coffee with her beloved EV Walkers, and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren and family.
Rose Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence (died 1980), her parents, Joseph and Marie Schmelzer, and her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Antoinette Schmelzer. She is survived by her sons Joe and John Cesmirosky, daughter-in-law Renee Cesmirosky, grandchildren Matt McCarley, Lauren Cesmirosky, Michael Cesmirosky, Paige Cesmirosky, and great granddaughters, Nora Quinn and Tessa Quinn.
