

Rose Musia Lazarone, 94, of Houston, was called to be with the Lord April 1, 2014. She was born on August 20, 1919 in Highbank, Texas. Rose was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She led an exemplary Christian life and loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Salvatore Musia and Josephine Ricci, four brothers, five sisters, and her husband Joseph Milton Lazarone, baby daughter Rose, and daughter Mary Louise. She is survived by her daughters: Rosemarie Foster (AJ), Josephine Hartsell (Thom), Cathy Boehm (Alfred), Sarah El Laham, Cheryl Casteel, Lucille Richardson (Jay) , 12 grandchildren , 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Special Thanks to Jewel Curtis her caregiver. Pallbearers are Joseph Boehm, Michael Boehm, Joey Casteel, Matthew Richardson, Brett Baker Jr., Emlyn Evans, Sammy Musia, and Lawrence Dagate. Visitation will begin at 9:30AM on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston. Rosary Service at 10:30AM and Mass will follow at 11AM celebrated by Msgr. James Anderson. After Mass, luncheon to follow in Parish Hall. Burial will be in Bryan, TX at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry or charity of your choice.
