

Rose was a master home cook and enjoyed sharing recipes and feeding family and friends. She also loved butterflies. The quilt on her coffin was created and sewed by her mother and Rose requested it be at her funeral.
Rose was active in her church and a member of the St. Rose of Lima Altar Guild Society. She loved her friends in her Red Hat Luncheon group and Bunco Club. Rose was a nurturing, comforting, and devout Catholic and she will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Reifel; parents Fannie and Steve Stephan; and her sister, Billie Pope. She is survived ber her daughter Stefanie and Lonnie Falk; sons, Gerald (Buzzy) Reifel Jr. and Steve Reifel; grandchildren, Tara and Dave Hegermiller, Amanda Falk, Jared Reifel, Kaylee Reifel, and Ryan Reifel; and great-grandchildren, Lily and Everett Hegermiller. She is also survived by her sisters Georgia Stephan, Eileen and husband Eugene Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Rose will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pat H. Foley & Company, 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman St, Houston, TX 77018. A committal service will occur Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
