Our Mother, Rose Linda Shorey Harris, age 74 passed away June 6, 2023. She was a woman of faith who loved her grandchildren more than anything else. Besides watching TV, playing her games, and scratching her lottery tickets, her favorite pastime was loving her grandkids. Rose is survived by her three children Edward S. Harris, Jose C. Harris, and Catalina Villarreal-Dimas. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Vicente G. Dimas and three grandchildren Vicente M. Dimas-Villarreal, Yandel J. Dimas-Villarreal and Yoel S. Dimas- Villarreal. Her surviving sisters are Yolanda Garcia, Francis Mosqueda, Janie Thomas and Mary Ann Maldonado.
A visitation for Rose will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A chapel service will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 7:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A graveside service will occur Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 11:00 am to 11:30 am at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023.
