Roshundra “Candy” Jones was born on October 20, 1974, in Houston, Texas, to Wilbert Sr. and Sarah Jones. Roshundra accepted Christ at an early age and served as a member of Jones Chapel A.M.E. Church. Later in life, she renewed her commitment to Christ as a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
Roshundra worked in the postal service, hospitality and retail industry, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. She had a heart full of love, especially for children, who naturally gravitated toward her. Her caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Roshundra departed this life on June 23, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert Sr. and Sarah Jones, and her grandparents, Walter Sr. and Bertha Jones.
Beautiful memories of Roshundra will be forever cherished by her brothers, Wilbert Jr. and Shannon (Krissna); her long-time partner, Kefentse Edwards; her aunt Margaret (Douglas); her nephew Jayden; God-daughter, Ariayl Stapleton; and a host of loving cousins, relatives, and friends.
