Mrs. Rosie was a joy to be around. I loved our talks and enjoyed listening to her stories. She was always so giving when we would meet for our weekly visit. If she arrived with breakfast, a drink, or our famous Mc Donald's apple pie, she shared it with me. If she came empty handed, she would go into her purse and quietly pass me a piece of candy with a sweet eye wink. One of my favorite stories she shared with me was about the number 8. She would tell me how she was the 8th child out of nine born in her family. She was born on the 8th day of the 8th month of the year. We would giggle together about that. I told her the number 8 was going to be my new lucky number. When she would talk about her daughter Zoe, granddaughters, and great grandaughters; I could see the love she had for them on her face. She would smile and her face would light up. I admired her. She was a lady. I will truly miss her❤
