Rosie Church, 89, of Houston, Texas passed away Wednesday July 20, 2011. She was born on January 22, 1922 in Bryan, Texas to Frank and Josephine Ruffino. Rosie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Lee Church and her daughter, Diane Church. She is survived by her daughter, Rosalie Brady, son, Joe A. Church and his wife Josie, daughter, Jo Marie Exnicious and her husband Robert. Rosie was also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00pm Sunday July 24, 2011 with a Rosary at 6:30pm in the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday July 25, 2011 in the St. Theresa Catholic Church 6622 Haskell St. Houston, Texas 77007 with Rev. Benjamin Smaistrla officiating. Pallbearers will be Lee Church, Joe T. Church, Leslie Lee, Frank Messina, Ben Collette, and Eric Marmion. Interment will follow in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
