It is with deep love and cherished memories that we celebrate the life of Rosita Sabrina Andrews, born on September 24, 1973, in Bronx, New York, to Deborah Edwards and Robert James Andrews. From an early age, Rosita displayed a warm spirit, a caring heart, and a strength that would become the foundation of her life.
She graduated from James Adams High School in New York before relocating to Euclid, Ohio, where she began a new chapter of her life. There, she met Gerald Palmer, and together they were blessed with two beautiful children, Georgia Palmer and Patrick Palmer, who became the center of her world and her greatest source of pride and joy.
Rosita was a woman of faith and purpose. She attended New Genesis Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Levi Butts, where she strengthened her spiritual foundation and built lasting relationships within her church family. She was also the proud owner of Youngland Daycare, a reflection of her nurturing character and her passion for caring for others.
For more than 24 years, Rosita dedicated herself to serving customers through her work with T.J. Maxx/Marshalls. Her strong work ethic, commitment, and friendly personality made her a valued employee and treasured colleague. Five years ago, she relocated to Houston, Texas, where she continued her career and embraced her new community with the same warmth and enthusiasm that defined her throughout her life.
Rosita became an active and devoted member of Northwest Church of Christ under the leadership of Pastor Jim T. Middleton. She was also active in the Visually Impaired Advocates and Support Group and a dedicated supporter of the Lupus Foundation, faithfully participating in annual Lupus Walks and awareness events. Drawing from her own experiences with visual impairment and Lupus, she encouraged others, raised awareness, and inspired hope in those facing similar challenges
Rosita's life was a testament to faith, perseverance, and courage. She faced every challenge with grace, determination, and an unwavering trust in God. Though Lupus ultimately claimed her earthly life, it never conquered her spirit. Her strength, resilience, and compassionate heart touched countless lives.
Above all, Rosita loved deeply. Her children, family, friends, and church family were her greatest treasures. She had a gift for making others feel valued and loved, and she rarely ended a conversation without saying, "I love you." Those words remain a lasting reminder of the love she shared so freely and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
Rosita was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruby Nell Edwards; mother, Deborah Edwards Jones; and stepfather, James Jones.
Rosita leaves to cherish her memory her Father, Robert James Andrews; her beloved Children, Georgia Palmer and Patrick Palmer; Siblings, Ronda Andrews, Rhonette Andrews, Regina Eckford (Steve), Robert Andrews, and Richard Andrews; Cousins raised as siblings, Michael, Kiesha, Warren, and Larry; Aunts and Uncles, Florence, Wanda (David), Pamela, and Johnathan; Nieces and Nephews, Fatimah, Malika, Curtis, Shateria, Kianna (Joseph), Douglas, Jennifer, Cee Cee, Raquel, Briahna, Quantay (Tressie), and Jazmine; Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews, Ryan, Laylah, Maleah, Novah, Journey, Kayson, Zamir, Kaleb, EJ, Zurie, Semaj, Korae, Za'ryah, and Zen; along with a host of extended Family Members, Friends, Coworkers, Church Family, and loved ones who will forever treasure her memory.
"I Love You" were never just words to Rosita. They were the way she lived her life, the way she loved her family, and the way she left her mark on the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Thursday October 15th at the Northwest Church of Christ. The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM and the Funeral Service will be held at 1:00. Pastor Jim T. Middleton will preside and officiate. A repast at the church will immediately follow the funeral services.

A Message From Heaven
To my Children, Family and Friends,
To my children, know that you were and always will be the greatest blessing of my life. I am so proud of each of you and all that you are becoming. While I may no longer be here to guide you in person, you will never walk alone. You are surrounded by family who loves you deeply and will be there to support, encourage, and uplift you. Lean on them, trust them, and know that you are cherished beyond measure.
To all of my family and friends, thank you for the love you gave me throughout my life. Continue making memories together, sharing stories, and keeping our bonds strong. Every time you laugh, celebrate, or come together in love, a part of me is there with you.
Until we meet again, don't think of me as gone. Think of me as just beyond your sight, resting peacefully and watching over those I love.
I Love You, Roz
