Roy Stanislaus Hardath Gordon

Roy Stanislaus Hardath Gordon, continued his journey on Friday 06/27/2025 at Age 86. He was born in Georgetown, Guyana on 4th May 1939. Roy was an accountant with diplomas / degrees from Guyana & England. He was married to Priscilla Sookwareah Drepaul Gordon for 49 years. Roy had a career in Accounting for Guyana Fire Service & Ministry of Home Affairs.

He was a member of The Rotary Club & Toast Masters Club & had a passion for Bicycle Riding, Exercising, Walking, Reading, Dancing, Listening to Music, playing with cats, Dogs & Feeding Birds.

The United States Of America Government invited the family to move to New York City before they settled in their final home in Houston, Texas. Roy embodied peace in every aspect of his life.

Roy is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla Gordon; his only son, Roy J Gordon; daughter-in-law, Erika Gordon; and his beloved granddaughter, Isabela Gordon & his beloved niece Loraine Drepaul, Arnold Gordon – Brother, Ann Gordon – Sister. He was known for his vast knowledge, keen intelligence, and unwavering devotion to his family and faith.

A true lover of books, classic movies, cats, chocolate, and music, he extended his friendly demeanor to everyone he met. In his later years, his greatest joy came from his granddaughter, Isabela, who became his cherished best friend. His memory will be cherished by all his loving family and friends.

Roy lived by the principles of seizing the day & always keeping the peace. We lay him to rest on Thursday, July 10th, 2025 at 10.30AM to be with God.
