Uncle Roy, thank you so much for always being there for me and my mom. I remember just last year our trip to Austin you took with me and her on my first visit to UT, and you were just as excited as I was to start my life there. You and aunt Sheela did so much for us and the rest of the family. I love you and I will miss you so much. You are very appreciated and I’m going to miss the patience and kindness you always carried with you.

I didn’t get to say goodbye, I didn’t get to say I love you. More than anything I hope you felt as loved as I did. I will never understand why you had to leave me but I hope and pray I will see you again.
I will always love you.

Dear Sheela, Martha, and Joey,
I am so sad and heart broken to hear the news that we lost cousin Roy. Roy was always kind and unassuming and I will always remember his smile. Growing up together and remembering childhood experiences that we shared brings joy to my heart. He was a happy guy.
God bless the Medellin family as I send love and prayers to each of you.
Your cousin,

Medellin Family,
I'm deeply sorry for your unexpected loss as we all are. Roy was a soft spoken, extremely nice ARB co-worker. Sadly, he will be missed by everyone who knew and worked with him at ARB. God has taken a wonderful soul ...., I want to stress my deepest condolences to all his family in this time of sorrow . May he rest in peace.....

I knew Roy thru the ARB . I really only spoke to him this year when he was in my ALG group and sat next to me. He had a very warm personality and and infectious smile. You could see pure joy in his heart. I'm just sorry I didn't get to know this wonderful person better. He did make a very big impression on the short while I knew and spoke to him. My prayers are with his family.

Sheila, and my dear Cousins Joe and Martha,
Roy was a quiet, gentle person, yet, his smile lit up the room. We have so many wonderful memories to bring us smiles even as tears stream from our eyes. I rejoice that we all spent quality time together in November at Papi Chaveco's plaque unveiling at the Naval Museum in beautiful Fredericksburg. A lifetime of Memories; we will always have to keep us going. Roy was a faithful servant of God and I like to think that as a person of faith also, it will help and guide us through this unexpected loss. I wish you God's comfort and Peace. Love you all, Letty

Medellin Family,
Roy was a great neighbor and friend to my husband and me.
Roy and Dean always talked about whose yard looked better and why, while keeping an eye on the neighborhood.
After my husband passed away Roy stepped in to help me with the yard. Then we would stand there and talk, Always ready to help with a smile.
My heartfelt sympathies go out to the whole family.
I know your Faith will help get you through this difficult time.

Rest In Peace Roy.

Roy you will be dearly missed. You were such a kind hearted, loving and patient man. I never heard you say an unkind word about anyone. You were always there to help wherever and whom ever was in need. Thank you for being such a good husband to my sister and father to my nieces and for being the best brother in law. GOD took you from us way too soon in his own perfect time who are we to say not yet. I miss you already. ❤️❤️❤️
