Roy Gene Parker, born in Durham, North Carolina on January 28, 1947 passed away on January 16, 2015 in Cypress, Texas. He was employed for 20 years as a quality insurance inspector for DrilQuip. He was fond of action and western movies. Roy loved country music and the Beach Boys and especially playing the slots. He is survived by his loving wife, Dee Dee Parker; Sons: Jared Parker, Wayne Parker, Daughters: Katrina Pasternak and husband Jason, Elizabeth Boydston and husband Hardy; Sister: Maureen McDonald, and Ex-wife: Deborah Parker. Services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm, Saturday, January 31, 2015 followed by a Memorial Service in the Family Chapel at 2:00pm. Inurnment will be in Brookside Memorial Park.
