ADD A MEMORY

December 29, 2015

My thoughts and prayers are with Roy and his family. Roy and I first knew each other in Cadet Class #31,which was the first cadet class the entrance age was lowered to 19 years of age. Roy and I were two of the older ones out of the 52 that graduated. Roy was a gentle person and a fine example of what a Houston Police Officer should be. I remember he and his pipe, I hope there is a pipe smoking room in Heaven.
God bless you Roy, may the Perpetual Light shine upon you and may you rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. He was one of my "training officers" back in December of 1968 while I was on probation. We had some "adventures" in the Acres Homes area beer joints. Later, when he was a polygrapher and I was a Robbery Detective we worked some cases together. My deepest sympathy to the family.mdb
