Ruby graduated from Macarthur Senior High School, Class of 1981. In years time she would move to Laredo, Texas and marry Jessie Davalos and have two children. Ruby’s most notable work would be as a crossing guard and teacher-aid at K. Tarver Elementary.
In addition to her mother Ramona, she was predeceased by her husband, Jessie Davalos (Senior). Survived by her father, Louis Vega, her children; Jessie Davalos Jr and Amber Marie Davalos, two sisters; Kristina Vega and Patricia Duron, and two brothers; Louis Vega Jr and Andrew Vega; followed by many nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, August 5 at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston TX, 77022.
