Ruby Elaine Sellars Engle, 94, of Conroe, Texas passed into eternal rest on July 31, 2017. She was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on October 12, 1922. Elaine graduated from Jefferson Davis High School. She married Marvin Engle on January 3, 1942. Elaine did clerical work for Abel Glass Company. She was an active member of her church and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Family, fishing and camping were her passions.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Sharon Engle Daugdrill; grandchildren Kimberly D. Welch & husband Wayne, Jennifer Lindsey & husband George; great-grandchildren: Shey'anne Lindsey, Savanna Lindsey, Avery Welch, Mason Welch; sister Orie Lee Alverez.
Family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017 in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 with the funeral to begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 12:15p.m. at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery on I 45 North.
