Ruby Lee Jones, 85, entered eternal rest on May 26, 2019 in Warner Robins, GA. She was born September 6, 1933 in Sunset, LA. Ruby worked in the healthcare industry at Ben Taub Hospital and private individuals (CNA). She enjoyed playing bingo, crabbing, and watching crime shows.
She is preceded in death by her daughter in law: Sandy Smith.
Ruby is survived by her children: Fletcher L. Smith, Jr., Nathan A. Smith & wife Amy Johnson, Hillary R. Smith, Katrina L. Smith & husband Jack Jackson, Melina Harless & husband Kevin; along with 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1st at 9am with the funeral service to begin promptly at 10:30am at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, TX 77039. Interment to follow in Paradise Cemetery North, 10401 W Montgomery Rd. Houston, TX 77088.
