Russell Wesley Wood

For over 30 years, Wes proudly owned and operated a local trophy shop, pouring his heart into his work. His steady presence and fun personality left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Wes is survived by his beloved partner, Rosa Campbell; his stepchildren, Billy Ener, Lorena, and Carlos Bacigalupo and family., Neice and Newphew Stephanie and Jerry Shipp and respective spouses and his cherished grandson, Devon Wood. He is also remembered fondly by many other family members and friends who will miss his kindness, humorous spirit.

He was preceded in death by his mother Martha Newton, sister Susan Wood and his son, Shane Wood, who passed away in 1995 at the age of 20 — a loss Wes carried with quiet strength and enduring love.

Wes found peace and joy vacationing in his RV, fishing, and spending time with his dogs. He especially treasured the close bond he shared with his nephew Jerry.

Wes’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His love, hard work, quiet strength, and witty personality will remain a guiding light to his family and friends.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
