She was preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, Alvin T. Kiel and her first born and only son, Lynn Kiel.
Mama worked for the City of Houston Parks & Recreation Department as a director of Candlelight Park for many years. There she taught ceramics classes along with all her other duties. She was so talented in many areas. Besides her beautiful ceramics, she was great at crocheting, gardening, fishing, and was a really great cook. Most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Kiel, Peggy Clack & husband Larry; grandchildren, Kevin Kiel, Kelly Turk & husband Chris, Jennifer Clack; great grandchildren, Kristin Turner & husband Bryan, Kori Wisener & husband Stephen, Kaley Kiel, Taylor Turk, Haley Turk, and Avery Clack; great-great grandchildren, Kaden & Bailee Turner, Rylie, Damon & Aubrey Wisener, Raelynn Spiegelhauer.
Visitation for family and friends will begin on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 6pm-9pm. Funeral service will begin promptly at 2PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Brookside Funeral Home.
