

Ruth Ann Goddard, age 84, of Conroe, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. She was born in Madisonville, Texas on October 13, 1940 to parents Earl C. Parker and Myrtie Etheridge Parker. Ruth graduated from Madisonville High School and received an associate degree from Massey Business College in Houston.
She met Jimmy T. Goddard in Houston, Texas and they were married on June 25th, 1961. After marrying Jimmy Goddard they settled in Houston, Texas to raise their 3 girls. Ruth had a career in accounting and was an office manager for many years. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of American Colonists.
Ruth had a passion for collecting birds, pumpkins, loved nature, family, and she loved creating family photo books. Loving the outdoors Ruth and Jimmy purchased a lot in Onalaska, Texas where they built their own lake house and later lived there for several years after their children moved out on their own. Eventually they sold their lake house and moved back to Houston to live the rest of her beautiful life.
She is preceded in death by Earl C. Parker (father), Myrtie Etheridge Parker (mother), Jimmy T. Goddard (loving husband), Margaret and Gale Touchstone (sister and brother in law), Billy F. Price (brother in law), Dorothy and Forest Graham (sister and brother in law), Sandra Goddard Hughes (sister in law), Owen Dean Kornegay and Wayne Graham (nephews), Melanie Price (niece), and David Tubbleville (son in law).
She is survived by Karen Goddard Howard (daughter), Angela Goddard Schade (daughter) and husband Roger Schade, Renee Goddard (daughter), Janie Parker Price (sister), Earl C. Parker with JoAnn Parker (brother and sister in law), James F. Parker with Jonell Parker (brother and sister in law), Mary Ethel Parker Butler with Gerald Butler (sister and brother in law), Tommy Hughes (brother in law) Pam and Mike Wilson (cousins), Bryan Howard with wife Kristy Howard and Christopher Schade (grandchildren), Bailey Howard, Kaleb Howard, and Kylie Howard (great grandchildren), Carolyn Koregay (niece), and many other beloved nieces and nephews.
