Ruth Ella Samuel

I was one of 11 children born to John and Lucile Brown. My mother, father and 9 children preceded me in death. Living, one sister, Glenda Jones of (Houston), one brother Harvis Brown of (Germany). I finished High School at Randolph High in LaGrange Tx.

I moved to Houston, where I met and married Jesse C. Samuel, who preceded me in death. To that union, we had one daughter (Brenda Samuel, one grandson, Kendrick Samuel, who also preceded me in death (Boo, My Love), and one great grandchild, LeKendria Samuel - Pinson (My Poo-Poo), and a host of nieces and nephews. I joined church and became member of Eastern Star Chapter # 1 Lodge. I worked at Bellaire Hospital and Methodist Hospital as a unit secretary, nurse assistant and a monitor tech for health patients for over 30 years.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at PARADISE FUNERAL HOME, 10401 West Montgomery, TX 77088. A funeral services will immediately follow at 12:pm. The committal will be at 2:00 PM at HOUSTON NATIONAL CEMETERY, 10401 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
