Mary Ruth Seale, age 91, of Devers, Texas passed away at Magnolia Place Health Care Center in Liberty on Monday, the 23rd of September 2013. Ruth was born the 7th of July 1922 in Daisetta. She graduated from Hull-Daisetta High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Devers.
She had been a long-time employee of American Rice Growers, Inc. and Nolte Grain Dryer in Raywood. Her true joy in life was caring for her two nephews Kendrick and Alan “Buddy” Abshire. After retirement she spent many years traveling with her nephews and friends. She loved to cook and read.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ailene Abshire, and her nephew Kendrick Abshire. She is survived by Buddy Abshire and numerous friends.
The interment service will take place at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, the 27th of September, at Woodlawn Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine Drive in Houston.
