I had the privilege of being Ryan’s 3rd grade teacher when he was an 8 year old at Wedgwood Elementary. He reached out to me on Facebook about a year ago asking if I remembered him. He was one of those little boys that stole my heart. He was a tall, shy boy who was very smart, hard working and kind to everyone. He was athletic and played hard at recess but also liked to read and learn new things. I remember most his beautiful smile and gentle spirit. I would think about Ryan through the years as I watched my oldest son grow up. They shared many of the same qualities...I thought of them as gentle giants with such big hearts. As a teacher you often wonder what becomes of those precious children you loved so dearly but only had in your life for a short period of time. I’m grateful I was able to reconnect with him to discover that he had indeed grown up to be a wonderful man. I’m absolutely shocked and devastated to hear of his passing. My prayers will be with all of you as you grieve the loss of a son, brother, friend, and especially husband and father.
Much love from Mrs. Pfundstein

To the Schutt family, may you please receive my deepest condolences! I met Ryan through his father at NOV, and he displayed to all that he has the same heart as his father, very dedicated and hard worker. Hence, Ryan was such a pleasure to work with at Conroe and Air Center, and is greatly missed. May God give comfort at such a difficult time. My prayers go out to his dear Father, Mother, Beautiful Wife, Daughter, Family, and Friends!

For my sweet, not-so-little-anymore boy. He’ll be your height in another year or so. Thank you for being someone he and all of my kids could look up too. Literally and figuratively 😊
Aidan misses you terribly. We all do. ❤️

I just now received the bad news of Ryan and my heart is heavy with grief. I know he will be so terribly missed by all. He touched my heart the minute he was hired at STP. Being the Receptionist, I had the pleasure of being one of the first people he met. And he had me with his angelic smile. Then, his quick morning visits before he started his day, started my day with a smile. I loved all of his pictures that he so proudly shared. Such a beautiful family.
Kimberly, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your Love, Ryan. You and your precious Aria are in my thoughts and prayers.
God be with you both, always.
