She was born September 7, 1947 in Port Author Texas, daughter of Doris (Locke) Logsdon and Lonnie Logsdon. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sally attended Lamar University where she earned her degree as an art teacher. Sally began her teaching carrier at Stratford High School and then for a short time left teaching to work in an office doing secretarial work.
But soon went back to her true calling of teaching at Langham Creek High School where she taught all levels of art plus an advanced art History class
If you knew Sally she was quite a conversationalist and enjoyed talking to people. Sally loved her many dogs over the years, she was a true animal lover. Her other passion was gardening. Sally’s yard always looked lovely with the flowers she chose plus the many plants.
She was very kind hearted and loved to do things for people; all they had to do was ask.
Sally attended Oak Presbyterian Church. A memorial service at Oak Presbyterian will be announced in the future.
We ask that donations in lieu of flowers be donated to your favorite animal shelter in Sally’s honor.
