Salvador J. Orlando

Salvador is preceded in death by wife Marie Orlando, mother Olivia, father Vincent, brothers Paul, Tony, Louis, Johnny, Luke, and Sister Lucille Lazarone.

Survived by Sons Vincent J. Orlando; Dr. Joseph S. Orlando and wife Sandra; Daughter Nancy Proctor and husband Mark; grandchildren Sherri Mudd, Wendi Orlando, Stephen Orlando, Stephanie M. Proctor, Stephen Proctor, and Samantha Trevino; and his sister, Josephine Marino

During WWII Salvador worked as a foreman building ships in New Orleans. He was a grocer man, real estate broker, and a successful businessman. He was a member of the Retail Grocers Association, Sacred Heart Society, and Knights of Columbus. He was a wonderful Daddy and Paw Paw.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday February 9, 2012 in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors from 5:00pm-8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10:00am, with Rev. Msgr. William L. Young, Celebrant. Rite of Committal at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
