On October 25, 1930, Sam Stovall was born to Ephrem and Irene Stovall. Sam was baptized at young age where he attended Morning Star Baptist Church in Mississippi. Later the family moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. When Sam became an adult, he moved to Houston in 1958. Later he was united in marriage to Lillie Coleman. He worked as a Welder at Mattco Inc. until he retired. Preceding him in death was his wife Lillie Stovall, sister Lubretha Scott, Mother Irene Stovall and Father Ephrem Stovall. He leaves to cherish his memories are Brother James Stovall and wife Frankie Stovall; Godbrother Ray Williams and wife Marie Williams; Lee Powers; a very close friend Marie Harris; a true best friend Elvin Horton (Sweet Boy); a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
