He is preceded is death by his wife Shirley Head, son, Eric Head, parents, and sister, Alyene Parker.
He is survived by his son Nathan Head and wife Melissa of Angleton, granddaughters, Abigail and Madelyn Head and his sister, Joyce Patterson of Huntsville.
A visitation for Samuel will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home.
