"Our light"
I never understood her until the very end. Sandra Luz Mendiola was extraordinarily unique, a social butterfly, and was very easy to get along with. She Loved going to the Rodeo shows and concerts.
Her occupation varied throughout the years. She lived well and she knew people from all walks of life. From ordinary to distinguished, she fit in everywhere.
As she brought LIGHT into our lives, she also was difficult to understand. Her upbringing was complicated and still, she was a beautiful delight.
For her and family privacy we will not discuss her health battles. As she would say "this is not goodbye, I will always be your light". We would love for you to join us and celebrate her 70th birthday, Sandra Luz Mendiola Arellano, our light. We lay you to rest, our beautiful light. She leaves behind her children, Julie and Scott Valdez, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
So we celebrate you mom, our light. I love you. We love you. Now, we will miss you. Our beautiful light. We will never forget you.
