Sandy was born in Tyler, Texas where she grew up and spent her childhood.
She headed to Austin for college where she met the love of her life and husband of 47 years, Terry Dobbins. They had two beautiful children, Brooke and Brian, the lights of her life.
Sandy loved outdoor adventures at their ranch and traveling around the world where she scouted her favorite trails, enjoyed hunting, fishing and quality time with her family. When she wasn’t spending time outdoors, you could find Sandy volunteering at church, PTO boards and various extracurricular groups. Her greatest joy in life was being a dedicated mother and loving wife. She always made a house a home filled with warmth, love, and a home cooked meal.
Sandy Dobbins is a legendary gem, whose spunky personality, wit and charm effortlessly put a smile on everyone's face and lit up a room. She will forever bring us joy and fill our hearts with laughter.
Sandy joins her beloved son, Brian, in heaven and is survived by her husband Terry, daughter, Brooke Bray, favorite son-in-law, Billy Bray and extended family.
Sandy will be celebrated Monday, June 6th at 12:00pm with burial immediately following. Memorial Oaks Home, 13001 Katy Freeway. Houston, TX 77079.
