

Sandra Ann Oser passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at North Cypress Medical Center in Cypress, Texas at age 77 of heart failure. She was born October 11, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to Dorothy Smithson and Cornelius "Con" Murrah. Sandra went to school at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas and then entered the Carmelite Monastery in Houston, Texas for a short period of time before she was called home to help out her beloved family. She met her husband, Eugene William Oser, at her Aunt Kate's house.
Sandra was married to Eugene on August 22, 1970 at Saint Jerome Catholic Church in Houston. She worked at the Department of Public Safety for over 10 years. Sandra loved the Lord and loved to go to mass. Sandra also loved reading and collecting books. She raised her children to be strong, honest and independent.
Sandra is survived by her loving children, Eileen Davis, Delia Sargent and husband James, Eugene Oser, Jr. and wife Yuki, Mary Oser-Hurt and Michael Oser; sisters, Margaret Ogles and husband Jimmy, Aunt Kathleen Kinser and husband Speedy; grandchildren, Heather Davis, Sean Oser, Rachael Hurt, Colleen Davis, Nichole Davis, Alissa Oser, Gavin Oser and Leah Oser; nieces and nephews, Teresa Matassa, John Kinser, Colleen Bartoszek, Michelle Libby, David Conn and Robert Conn; cousins, Mary Ann Barry and husband Dick, Johnny Hosty and wife Leticia "Lety", and many other loving family members and friends.
Sandra is preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Eugene William Oser; siblings, Eileen Murrah and David Murrah.
Sandra was a devout Roman Catholic, who was selfless in her actions as she always thought of others first. Most of all she was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who lived her life for the Lord and her family. Sandra will be greatly missed by everyone blessed to have known her and will be remembered for so many qualities especially her strength and will to live with a commitment to everyone surrounding her.
