Sara Faustina Funes

Sara Faustina Funes, age 75, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. She was born February 15, 1949 in El Salvador to Lonzo de Jesus Raimundo and Maria Ines Jovel. She was a woman of faith and very involved in her church and the activities with helping the youth group,was a prayer warrior and volunteered whenever she could. She was very active with Corpus Christi Catholic Church, St. Benedict's and St. Mark's here in Houston. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jose Funes; daughter, Ines Flores and husband, Javier Flores, Jr. 3 grandchildren, Jayden, Jayson and Aliana Flores and is preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation / velorio for Sara will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A rosary service / santo rosario will occur Monday, June 10, 2024 from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A funeral service / servicio funebre will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9900 Stella Link Rd, Houston, TX 77025. A committal service / sepelio will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Paradise Cemetery South, 2237 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, Texas 77030.
