Sean Michael McPartland

Sean Michael McPartland, 51, passed away July 28, 2010 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born on October 1, 1958 in Teaneck, NJ. Sean attended Strake Jesuit High School and graduated in 1976 and furthered his education at Texas A&M with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 1980. He worked for Schlumberger for the past 26 years as a project manager. Sean was a member of St. Laurence Catholic Church. He loved hunting with his sons and playing golf. A special thanks is given to MD Anderson Cancer Center for their loving kindness. Sean is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia McPartland. He is survived by his wife Sylvia McPartland, father; Frank McPartland, sons; Brendan, Michael, and Kevin McPartland, sister; Maire Kelly, and brother, Kevin McPartland, also by many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kevin McPartland, Charlie Williams, Ron Cornett, Scotty Cormier, Prasana Venkatesan, and Brian Curtice. A visitation and Rosary will be held Friday, July 30, 2010 with the Rosary from 6:00 to 6:30PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home in the Memorial Mission Mausoleum Chapel and the evening visitation from 7:00 to 9:00PM also at Forest Park Westheimer. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Laurence Catholic Church, in Sugar Land, on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10:30AM following will be committal at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston Texas.
