Shannon had a love for cars, tractors, and quite anything with a motor. His intelligence helped him build a successful career as a Master Diesel Mechanic. He would often call his job-sites “paradise”. Not only did he have a passion for his craft, but he had a passion for helping anyone in need. There was no job too little and no person too unfamiliar. Shannon never hesitated to use his gift to put someone back on the road or back on their feet.
In 1991, Shannon started his family by welcoming his first child, Jacob AhQuin. He later welcome his first daughter, Shelby AhQuin. Lastly, he welcomed a set of twins, Annabelle and Adam AhQuin, whom completed his world. Through the years of raising his kids he was not only known as a Maser Diesel Mechanic, but was later known as a Master Super Dad. Shannon never failed to show his love and support to his children and family.
In 2017, and a few years following, he was promoted to his most proud title of Grandpa. Not only is he survived by his four children, but he is also survived by four grandchildren; Elle, Adeline, Ryan, and Ronnie. Shannon eventually started splitting his weekends between turning the wrench in the field to swimming in the pool with the kids. The love he had for his grandchildren was unmatched and the smile on their face when he entered a room proved it well.
On January 29th, 2023 Shannon was called home unexpectedly and ultimately far too soon. He was loved beyond measures and will be missed tremendously. Although many are heartbroken by his passing, we appreciate the love he shared, the family he built and the community he helped.
