Sharon was born on August 21, 1945, in Dallas, Texas to Charles Frederick Rose and Juanita Evelyn Rose (Causey).
Sharon spent a lot of time making jewelry, doing ceramics, pottery, crocheting, crafts and gardening, enjoyed disco dancing with her husband, was an excellent baker/cook and loved taking care of others (especially her mom, grandchildren and great-grandchildren). She never missed episodes of All My Children, One Life to Live, General Hospital, Dallas, Knots Landing and Dynasty. She loved to celebrate Christmas where she always wore her handmade Christmas wreath red t-shirt, made the best fudge and enjoyed watching all the children open gifts. A few of her favorite things included pansies, iced tea, cheese enchiladas from Don Jose Mexican Restaurant, reading and listening to music.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Rose and Juanita Rose, loving husband of 34 years, Lloyd David Cole, Sr., sisters, Niecie Ribble and Sissy Bodiford, brothers, Patty Rose and Sonny Rose, and daughter, Wendy Covington. Sharon is survived by sons, Blake Covington, Lloyd Cole, Jr. (Amy), Brandon Cole (Stefanie), brother, Robert Rose, sister, Nancy Rose and granddaughter, Myranda Cole, who Sharon welcomed into her home and raised as her own; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
