Sharron Ann Turpin

Sharron Ann Turpin, 69, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, went to be with her Lord on January 26, 2013 in Houston, Texas after an eight-year battle with cancer. She was born on June 26, 1943 in Houston, Texas and graduated from Alvin High School. Sharron married Edgar H. Regan in 1962 with whom she had a son, Kevin P. Regan. She was married in 1977 to Richard W. Turpin, devoted husband and stepfather with whom she remained with until her death. She is preceded in death by her father, Glenn Mason Browne, and mother, Hortence Ann Browne.

Left to cherish memories of her are her husband, Richard; her son, Kevin Regan; step-daughter, Amy Turpin; step-son Jonathan Turpin and his wife Angela and their daughter Allison; grandsons, KP Regan and Cooper Regan; brother, Glenn Browne and nephew Cliff Browne; brother Hamilton Browne and his wife Bobbie and nieces Courtney and Jennifer; brother Morris Browne and his wife Charlene and nephew Mason; brother Paul Browne and his wife Mary Ann and nephews Eric and Andrew; and brother Malcolm Browne and his wife Florence and nieces Rachel and Erika. Sharron placed her faith in Jesus Christ and lived a selfless and giving life, devoted to God and her family. She attended Alief Community Church and when healthy was an active participant in the Church’s activities.

Sharron will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and all those that she touched with her kindness. We now rejoice that she is with the Lord.
