Sharyl Denise Rudin passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. She was born in Houston on the 6th of June, 1969. Sharyl attended B. F. Terry High School in Rosenberg, where she was an officer on the Rangerette Drill Team and was honored to be named Most Beautiful of her high school. Upon graduation, she pursued a career in modeling, and she opened Sasha’s, a Houston fashion boutique.
Sharyl is survived by her parents, Fred and Bertha Rudin of Houston; brother Michael Rudin and his wife, Julia, of Houston; sister Michelle Sebesta and her husband, Jim, of Richmond; nephews David Klen and Cameron Rudin; nieces Caitlin Rudin and Skye Rudin; and fiancé, Dean Ammann, of Houston, and his daughters Kayla and Deanna.
Sharyl loved spending time with her family and traveling, her favorite destinations being Hawaii and Aruba, given her love of the beach. Having grown up “in the country”, Sharyl had a great love for animals of all shapes and sizes, a trait she no doubt inherited from her dad.
As her family, we loved her smile, beautiful heart, and unconditional acceptance of everyone. She never met a stranger, and she could always make you laugh. We will miss you dearly, Sharyl, until that joyous day when we are all reunited with our Lord and Savior.
Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday, April 23, at 10a.m., at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Road, in Houston.
Condolences may be sent to www.dignitymemorial.com/forest-park-westheimer.
Please consider making a contribution in Sharyl’s memory to the Houston SPCA, or charity of your choice.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
