He attended school in Spring Branch ISD to Northbrook High School, then he attended Jersey Village High School he senior
where he received his diploma. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a believer. Shawn was a beloved husband, son, brother father, uncle, grandfather, and more. He loved his family with all of his heart.
On September 12, 2026, Shawndrick was called to glory from his earthly home.
Shawndrick was preceded in death by all grandparents, step-mother Rita Archie, sister Latoya Archie, cousin/brother Michael Gilbert, Justin Garrison, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He leaves his cherished memories to his devoted wife Alice McCall, mother Annie Ray, father Murray, sister Sharchantele McCall, brothers Joseph Archie (Jessica), daughters JaNceyia McCall (Tre), Asia McCall, Shawna McCall, son Joseph McCall, bonus daughters Laura Vasquez (Jessie), Cathy Landry (Corbin), bonus son Joseph Bueno, grandsons Tre'aidyn and Amere, bonus granddaughters Tori, bonus granddaughters Olivia, Camilla, Isabella, Jazlyn, Natalyn, bonus grandsons Nathan, Damond, Aubrey, nephew Darnell, nieces Keairra (Anthony), Kasharion, Peyton, great niece Kahri. A host of uncles, aunts, cousin, in laws, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, US, on September 26, 2026, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, US, on September 26, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
