Shelia Christene Mitchell

Shelia is survived by her daughter Laura Jean Gore of Mexia, Texas; and her daughter Sheila Lynn Mitchell of New Caney, Texas; her sister Karen and her sister Celeste; her grandson Josh Schubert (Maegan), her grandson Brandon Murphy, her grandson Mikel Kirby, her grandson Zachary Mitchell, her granddaughter Valerie Nichols, her granddaughter Tabitha Mitchell, her granddaughter Melanie O'Keefe, her granddaughter Jessica Tyler and her granddaughter Alesha Rodriguez.

Shelia was preceded in death by her husband Joe Mitchell; her daughter Dianna Mitchell and her daughter Mary Rodriguez; her mother Norman LaVerne Ashford and her father James Orville Combs; her brother Leonard Combs; her brother Fred Combs and her sister Sherry Lock.

A church service for Shelia will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Community Transformation Church, 17802 U HWY 59, New Caney, TX 77357.

Shelia will be laid to rest in Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77305.
