She was born on February 18, 1954 in Jacinto City, TX to Carl Eugene Aldmon and Mary Kathryn Kluttz.
Shelley graduated in 1972 from Charles H. Milby H.S. In 1976, met, fell in love and married Stephen Kelly Steiner. Two years later in 1978, they were blessed with a daughter Amber Leigh Steiner.
She was employed by Dow Chemical, St. Pius High School, Abbey Home Health and retired from Health Management Services due to health reasons.
Shelley was a devoted member to Baptist Temple of Houston, TX where she led G.A.s and was the cotton candy maker at all family church functions. I remember her smelling of sweet cotton candy and her hair tinged of soft pink from the whirls of spun sugar surrounding her. As a family, our membership was moved to Houston’s First Baptist Church, where she was very active with her Sunday school class.
She is predeceased by her parents, Carl Eugene Aldmon and Mary Kathryn Kluttz Aldmon; her husband Stephen Kelly Steiner; and brother Keith Edward Aldmon.
Shelley is survived by her beloved daughter, Amber Leigh Steiner, who was her heart. She is also survived by her brother, Douglas Oren Aldmon and sister-in-law Donna Aldmon, brother, Michael Wayne Aldmon and sister-in-law Dana Aldmon, as well as many nieces and nephews, and cherished pet Josie and grand dog Ellie.
Shelley will be severely missed. There will never be a day without your ever present memory.
Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your spirit lives within me, forever in my heart.
